Ever spent Christmas at the lake? It's beautiful, and it's cold. The snow covers the frozen lake with a perfectly flat blanket, broken only by the occasional footprints of a deer zig-zagging across the lake. That and the impromptu ice road from the public landing to the little village of ice houses clustered off the point where the walleyes live. Oh, and a million snowmobile tracks criss-crossing everywhere.
At night, the moonlight reflects off the snow so you can walk without a light and enjoy the brilliance of the Milky Way overhead. The kids check out the window to catch a glimpse of a reindeer-powered sleigh.
Hanging on the tree is your one-of-a-kind lake ornament. These ornaments accurately depict the five Great Lakes of North America, and they look great on the tree.
The lakes are laser-cut from 1/8" alder plywood and depict the lake and its islands in detail. Ornaments come in two sizes, either 2" or 2-3/4" in diameter, with the lake cutout suspended in a ring with an open background. Ornaments are hung on the tree with a twine loop.
