Lakes are the most important thing in Wisconsin, after the Packers. And cheese. And maybe snowmobiling. Beer, for sure. Anyways, you can do all those things on a lake. Take your snowmobile out to your ice house so you can listen to the Packer game while you eat cheese and drink a Wisconsin craft beer.
Western Wisonsin's got so many great lakes that they're full of weekend Minnesotans, who drive too fast and bring non-Wisconsin beer across the border. Southeastern Wisconsin's got fewer, but just as great, lakes that get filled from Illinois all summer. Just try finding a parking spot near a public access on July 4.
Everyone loves Wisconsin lakes. We've started our Wisconsin series with some necklaces of our favorite Wisconsin lakes, and a few requested by our friends. The pendants are laser-cut from 1/8" alder wood and depict the lakesand its islands in detail. The large size measures 2" to 2-1/4" in its longest dimension and really stands out. It's for men and women who like large pendants. The medium size is the most popular and measures 1-1/4" to 1-1/2". The small size measures 1" to 1-1/8" is designed for the petite-jewelry lover, and is more about the shape of the lake than the details. It prompts "What is that?" from the viewer. Pendants come on a 20" adjustable waxed cotton chain with a decorative bail. All components are environmentally friendly and are lead- and nickel-free.
