Ya know in Minnesota one thing we got is beautiful lakes and beautiful girls. Well, two things we got. When you go to da lake, you gotta look yer best, and dese classy lake earrings does the trick, ya know? They go with any Minnesota summer outfit - a summer dress, shorts with a tank top, a bikini, a raincoat and galoshes, cutoffs and mittens, whatever.
The pendants are laser-cut from 1/8" solid wood and depict the lake and its islands in detail. The small size is the most popular and measures 1" to 1-1/8" in their longest dimension. The medium size measures 1-1/4" to 1-1/2". The large size measures 2" to 2-1/4" and really stands out. All components are environmentally friendly and are lead- and nickel-free.
Available woods include red alder, a beautiful light wood with a fine grain. It is the most popular and the best wood for lakes with lots of little islands, bays or peninsulas. The darker woods show off the shape of the lake and make it harder to see the engraving of any islands the lake may have. Cherry is slightly darker than alder with a more variable grain. Red Padauk is a deep red-orange with a heavy grain, definitely best used on lakes with a simple shape. Walnut is a rich, dark wood with a fine grain, which makes the details a little more subtle, but with an elegant look.
